Managing production of the company’s corporate artwork for communications across the business was a task of titanic proportions. For example, the Property and Facilities team alone were spending 1,775 hours a year co-ordinating the production of stationery, including business cards for their staff. Not to mention the number of emails going backwards and forwards simply to approve artwork.
They implemented the Brandworkz marketing & brand management platform to deliver a more up to date method of corporate print services. The brief was to streamline the production process, save time and reduce costs while maintaining the high standards associated with the brand. Utilising Brandworkz modules Digital Asset Management, Web-to-Print and Approval Workflow, an online print management site was created.
Fully branded according to the company’s corporate brand guidelines, staff log in to the print management portal with a password to access templates of the artwork they need to order and can customise pre-designed templates themselves by following the exceptionally simple step-by-step process. Then, with the click of a button, the layout is submitted for final proofing and approval to the Property and Facilities Department.
If we focus on the Business cards alone, the brand is already saving 75% of its print production budget every month as well as the hours of man-time which have been saved on every order. Combined with the savings across the other artwork and materials being created in the system, the ROI has been phenomenal.
