Brandworkz, the specialist provider of a digital asset management software and marketing management platform has launched operations in Australia to service existing clients and expand its reach to the Asia Pacific region.
Grant Gebert has been appointed to manage and run the Brandworkz Asia Pacific business from Melbourne, Australia. He will ensure that new and existing customers have access to business and technical digital asset management expertise on a regional level.
Brandworkz has existing customers in Asia Pacific, such as New Zealand brand Icebreaker Clothing. There has been a significant increase in demand for digital asset management and marketing management technology from the region which has led to Brandworkz opening an office on the ground there.
Grant Gebert has many years of experience in taking software solutions to market in the region with Baobab Software and has worked with high profile customers in all sectors of the market, across the Asia Pacific geography.
Technology platforms for marketing have proliferated globally in the last few years. IT research and advisory firm, Gartner, predicts that by 2017 the Chief Marketing Officer will spend more on technology than the Chief Information Officer.
Brandworkz has seen growth in their business in line with the increasing requirement for marketers to centralise marketing processes and compliance management as well as management of every marketing or digital asset. As companies continue to feel the pressure of justifying marketing return on investment, they are looking for software platforms to control marketing processes and content.

Brandworkz, which is headquartered in the UK, opened offices in the USA in 2011 in New York and Silicon Valley. Business from the region already contributes 45% of company turnover. The company has further plans for international expansion in 2014.
