B2B Lead Generation Executive

Reporting to: Head of Marketing & Sales Director 

As a business to business Lead Generation Executive within our marketing and sales team based in London, your main focus will be to generate meeting opportunities for our sales teams in the UK and USA. Using Salesforce as your CRM, you will develop mailing lists and create a portfolio of leads and contacts through email prospecting, social networking and some cold calling when necessary.

You will be friendly, confident and able to communicate in accurate, well-written English and be able to speak to people at all levels to find and secure new sales meeting opportunities.

This is an exciting sales role with a company that develops and sells a market-leading Brand Management software product. 

Core responsibilities:

  • Business-to-Business lead generation and sales prospecting
  • Cold calling, gathering sales intelligence, handling objections
  • Appointment setting, ensuring a steady flow of qualified leads to the sales funnel
  • Re-qualifying leads from trade shows, events, mailers, other activities
  • Sales administrative support
  • Maintaining the prospect/sales database
  • Mailing list building

Desirable skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written English language proficiency
  • Ability to communicate well at all levels
  • Ideally some telesales experience
  • Commercially aware and focused on building relationships with potential customers
  • Understand organisational structures and decision making processes
  • Flexible working approach
  • Attention to detail
  • Self motivated and target driven
  • Professional upbeat approach, strong probing skills, persistence

The successful candidate will be provided with:

Frontend developer job specification

Salary: £24,000 - £28,000 depending on experience

Reporting to: Head of UX and Head of development

Core responsibilities

  • Working within the project team to implement brand management sites for new and existing clients

Secondary responsibilities

  • On-going  development of the Brandworkz company website and implementation of a CMS
  • Building of company email newsletter templates
  • Any other reasonable responsibilities that are deemed necessary

Must-have skills

  • Standards compliant XHTML
  • CSS2 & CSS3 (including techniques for progressive enhancement and fallsbacks)
  • Cross-browser compliant coding including IE6 (N.B. IE6 support is typically best-effort support and a paid for extra)
  • jQuery & basic javascript
  • Good communicator
  • Good attention to detail

Desirable skills & experience

  • Experience of coding using server-side languages
  • HTML5
  • CSS frameworks
  • More advanced javascript (e.g. javascript without libraries , object orientated JS, MVC’s like AngularJS or Knockout)
  • Ability to switch between projects at short notice and deliver challenging but achievable deadlines
  • Experience of working in a multi-developer environment
  • Experience of project management methodologies e.g. Agile, Scrumbam
