Brandworkz goes back to school

Brandworkz went back to school on Monday!  Abigayle Norman, Content Marketing Manager, and Jens Lundgaard, Brandworkz CEO had speaker engagements at Henley Business School and the University of East Anglia respectively.

I went back to Henley Business School where I earned my Master’s degree in Marketing and International Management back in 2013. I went to take part in an alumni panel talking to third year students from the various courses across the business school about how to find a job after graduation, what it’s like in the working world and to answer questions about life after graduation. Also on the panel were Firas Arab from Blue Fish Communications and Camilla Walter from Jones Lang Lasalle (coincidentally, a Brandworkz client). It was great to connect with other alumni and speak to third year students about Brandworkz, but also to be able to offer tips and advice. The event was part of enrichment week for the students and was organized by the Henley Alumni Association.

Jens travelled to Norwich to the University of East Anglia to run a masterclass for the post-graduate students on the Brand Leadership Course. The course is the only one of its kind in the UK and is highly respected for the calibre of students who graduate from it. In fact our very own Social Media Manager, Minh Hoang, is an alumnus of the course!

Jens was lecturing for the second year running. His role is to introduce the students to the world of marketing and brand technology, to discuss how marketing and branding professionals are becoming ever more reliant on technology and to show specifically how many of them will be using brand management software in their future careers.

We always enjoy getting a chance to speak with students, to hear their thoughts on the world of work and to offer any advice we can to help them to achieve their goals and succeed in their degrees.
